Phosphogypsum – wet-process phosphoric acid production waste – is used in agriculture for chemical reclamation of light alkalized soils and solonetz soils in combination with organic fertilizers.
Maximal single dose is 15 t/ha.
Re-treatment period earliest once in 5-6 years.
Phosphogypsum is used in cement industry as mineralizing agent while firing cement charge and as cement setting agent at cement clinker size reduction.
